Environmental policy
- The space system for the resource inquiry and the environmental monitoring produced in this Kamakura district of our electric system business unit (note) and the social infrastructure system and the system of defenses for the interconnection pipe system etc. play an important role to the societal development.
We adequately understand the impact on the environment by development, manufacturing, the product, and the service, etc. of the product, decrease the environmental load through the environmental management system, and do a continuous improvement of environmental conservation activities. - We try to improve environmental preservation by setting voluntary standards within a technically and economically possible range to say nothing of observing regulations, the ordinance, and the agreement related to the environment etc. specified in the organization.
- To promote the approach on environmental problems positively, we attempt maintenance and the improvement of the environmental management system by the voluntary management that sets up an environmental task force and the internal, environmental audit team in in-house.
- We set the following environmental purposes, aims and unfold and we respond by the result and plan a revue to be concrete.
- (1) For low-carbon society realization, we plan a discharge of the CO2, the reduction of the CO2 discharge at the time of the product use at production.
- (2) For the recycling society formation, we plan promotion of the resources existence effect utilization, the reduction of the resources input.
- (3) For the reinforcement of the environmental management base, we plan certain correspondence to environmental regulation, the fact prevention of the environmental accident, breeding of the environmental mind, symbiosis with area and nature.
- (4) We try for the making of product which considered resource saving, energy saving recycling from the use of the product to the disposal.
- We recognize the enclosed conditions of location to the natural environment of Old Town and Kamakura that Enoshima faced the floating Sagami bay, and aim at green environment, clear air and importantly we try and aim at symbiosis with the region communications with the region.
- I carry out an environmental education, publicity work in the company and publicize environment policy to all people working in electric system business unit, Kamakura Works district and act for consciousness improvement for the environmental conservation and the realization of the environment policy.
- We announce this environmental policy generally.
